I love this picture!
The kid wonders what's going on. The old man knows what's happening.
Did I mention I love this fucking picture!
The kid has no clue, the old man knows all to well what may be ahead for the kid.

To me it brings to mind all the fun the kid can have on wheels before he's in the old man's chair.
Roller skates, skateboards, bicycles, Segways, motorcycles, automobiles, trucks, hot rods, ad infinitum.

Their eye contact makes it perfect. The brackets of a lifetime, extreme youth and old age, looking like each wonders what the other would tell them.
