We had really good Eye Talian hoagies from Croce's for lunch today. He's been bugging over one since he decided to come up. Hell, since I've been talking to him.
Maybe we'll do Cheesesteak hoagies from Tony Luke's for dinner tomorrow.
Amanda is taking this visit with uncommon grace, by the way. Props to her. Short notice and just as her final semester of school is starting.
She's looking forward to having people over Sunday, though. As am I.
I may wear my old school eagles hat. I don't know how to deal with this new lack of hair going on. I have to get my hair cut shorter because I have less hair and I don't understand that part.
I'll be sporting my new HELM 79 jersey Amanda got me for Christmas.
Amanda is a good sport. She seems to be fascinated with my spectacular handsome face. I can't help that I look better than the average Yankee.

I do talk fast. I know this. I'm frustratingly curt and mumbly on the phone.
I consciously slow and lower my voice when I'm presenting my decreasing value menu to customers. It's worth it not having to repeat myself.

Actually I was supposed to stay in a motel the first night, but got in to late. Amanda got her revenge though. She put me in a third floor walk up bedroom. Colder than a witches titttie up there if I messed up and closed the door. Once I slipped on the stairs. Jim was concerned. He said," don't bleed on the carpet"!

things have been really good lately, im working for the local health center, moving in with my girlfriends 6/1 (molly moves up here from DC next friday, shes gonna stay with me and ada for a few weeks till we all three move into the new place. i have surgery scheduled 9/6 so im desperately saving up for that.

Thank you for your kind comments. I didn't realize the picture is sideways. :p: I went shopping with a friend who's 27. After going with me into a few stores, she said, I'll dress you younger. We went into the store that's "more her style." I left with 3 outfits, and this is one of them. As I was deciding what to wear to the party, I picked out 2 outfits, one more conservative than this. A friend told me anniversary parties are normally boring, so go with "hot." I went to the party in this outfit. :D

It's good to see some familiar faces, but things generally seem "quieter" than they used to be....
It is, a lot of people have drifted to facefuck or off to life. There's some that still read but don't post much, so less variety in topics, anything political gets heated quickly. Plus everything seems to be somehow connected to politics these days. And some seem to come and go and come back again.

After visiting Jimbo in January I got a crewcut almost to the skin. Poor Jimbob had a freak. He thought maybe I was a long haired type person so I decided to let it grow.
This morning I realized why I wasn't a long haired hippie. What a pain in the ass. I sleep on my left side and that side of my head looked like a beehive hairdo. No pic of that thank you.

So...... These soft, lined, "hand knitted" in Peru hats went on saleat work today. Everyone wanted the Dragon hat, but the early scanner who puts on the sale snags the prize. I never wer hats. Especially not wool, lined, super warm, multi-colored affairs. But I had to have the hat.
Chemo day, so as soon as the sale was on and the store was open, I acquired my prize and left to take beest to the hospital, dumping my bag in the house before we left.
We got home about an hour ago, he came straight in and put the kettle on and get warm, I took my time getting all the stuff from the car. Came in to find this:
