Not a cat peep myself, but I did grow up with anywhere from 1 to 3 cats at a time throughout my childhood, so I figured that was good enough.

First survey I have seen that gives you a bonus cute cat picture in between each question. I didn't even fully realize those pictures were there until I was halfway through the survey, and I was like, "Hey, wait a minute, there are cute cat pictures trying to sway my answers towards the warm and fuzzy."

I have always had one or two cats except for a few years living in apartments. Upon retirement I had two males then one day a neighbor brought a female found at a gas station. I didn't get her fixed right away and she had 5 kittens. The two boys found homes elsewhere and I kept the girls. All are fixed. My black cat George died last spring. Yes Gravs he was my favorite too.

That cat with the bent ear still hangs out with me on my porch, so I did the survey with him in mind. He didn't come around for 3 days last week, and I was a little worried. He came over yesterday though.

The indoor cat/outdoor cat question should've had a third response available called "wherever he wants to be at the moment".

Slick came and went (indoors/outdoors) as he pleased. I answered for where he pooped, outside.

I still haven't found a large enough flat rock to lay over his grave. Have to wait for the snakes to go away now (to go rock hunting;)).

I still miss my boy.:sniff:

Thanks everyone, student pologirl reports phenomenal overnight responses
xoxoxoBruce • Oct 3, 2016 2:28 pm
We try. ;)
limey • Oct 3, 2016 2:54 pm
Done. Though the inside/outside question is a problem, to be sure. I said "outside" because they have free access to outside, though they are mostly to be found on our bed.
footfootfoot • Oct 3, 2016 4:20 pm
Done. Assumes a single cat scenario w/o multiple options for how one obtained their cats.

I hope pologirl isn't expecting sane People... no, wait cat people... nevermind. :p:
monster • Oct 3, 2016 6:54 pm
um...... she's related to me.....
monster • Oct 3, 2016 6:56 pm
....and will use the possibility that cutesy pix might influence answers towards the fluffier end of the spectrum in her discussion... :D
classicman • Oct 3, 2016 7:00 pm
Completed it and shared with a couple other cat nuts.
monster • Oct 3, 2016 7:22 pm
.....can we make this thing go viral? ;) Apparently the class is called "Living with Animals" and is probably fulfilling some graduation requirement. Which scares me a little given the caliber of the university, but then again, cute cat pix are a large part of modern life and culture.....
monster • Oct 3, 2016 7:23 pm
....or perhaps she's going to share the results with the cat population and ask them how they feel about living with us?
orthodoc • Oct 4, 2016 7:08 pm
Done - if it's not too late.
monster • Oct 4, 2016 9:48 pm
Thanks -she said she would make it unanswerable if it was too late, so I'mm'a guess not. The more the merrier until the report is written.....

She needed minimum 30 by some time this week and was really worried about it. 75 is the current count  ...thanks everyone :)

I do believe if she asked about skunks, badgers or bobcats she might have had a different count. Lots of cat people here for sure. Even some who adopted one what just showed up and moved their heart.(LJ) Gravdigr, your new cat will find you. All mine found me.

footfootfoot • Oct 11, 2016 10:55 am
The whole Haiti situation, as well as other places where there are lots of hurricanes, reminds me of this Sam Kinnison bit; just replace sand with flooding.
