Son's friend recommended screencast.com. thoughts?

/tic. There is no lesson this kid will learn from not getting the assignment in that he hasn't already learned by reaching this point of desperation. It will just fuck up his grades. And there is no grade for researching and downloading the software. So best he works on other assignments for other courses while we do that grunt work.
Now ....we're leaning towards Jing....any thoughts?

Jing did the recording, but output was in .swf, difficult to play and share.
Screencast-omatic did the job easily and uploaded directly to my youtube for sharing, but no sound on the free version, not a problem for this appllication and the full version is only $15
