J & I went opening weekend. Another 5 star Pixar work. You don't even have to ask. It's Pixar.
Preceded by a cool little short film "Piper". State of the art animation takes your breath away sometimes. Look at the detailed wet sand and the reflections... the blur... the feathers on the adult bird's wings... the way the water droplets move as expected.

The above-water external scenes in Dory are that kind of photorealistic, and sometimes you stop and say, did they just shoot all this in real life and then animate on top of it? No it's all animation. Good gawd.
