Because it's already too goddamn crowded.
Last time I was there, I couldn't help but notice all the trash along the highways. I think back East, the green hides it more.
WARNING: NATIONAL TRAVEL ALERT
All persons between MI and So CA.
Stay the fuck out of the way.
That is fabulous! Have a great time!
Did you leave the boy hooker money?
Good luck to Pologirl, and have fun
All booked! Two days in SF inc Alcatraz Cruise then down to SC :)
Have fun. I thought Alcatraz would be interesting but when I got there I thought it was creepy. I doubt you'll feel the same. Don't forget pictures.
I guess there's no chance of making the Olympic team this year, so you've got four years to save up for Tokyo. ;)
Don't forget the Michigan water. ;)
Olympic tryouts are two weeks after we are there.
Here's the current senior team roster. At 5'5" and not from CA, she'd be bucking two trends.....
Have her make a quickie overnight Tijuana transfer to a CA school, until after the tryouts. ;)
Most varsity team players originate from California. Even Michigan ones.
Have your fun in San Francisco. I don't remember there being much in Santa Cruz which is on the other side of the Bay from where I lived in Monterey. The Mission (de la Exaltación de la Santa Cruz) has an interesting story; but, it was destroyed in an earthquake and what's there now is a half size replica. I was disappoint. Fortunately, there was a winery or two not far off of Highway 1 between the two cities to accent the scenic motorcycle jaunt with girlfriend. Enjoy your event.
We're gonna kayak among the kritters. And then watch water polo for three days straight. And feel weird cos no kids for first time in 18 years... ;) ...then we'll call them, text then and check on Powerschool to see what homework one of hem has.. Then call and text again....
Hey kids, call the police department telling them you are the folks and you're planning a big party. Tell them if the neighbors complain they don't have to send a cruiser, just call and you'll tone it down. Then call the liquor store and the Deli, with mom's credit card, and ...
...and if they're worried about being confronted by an intruder in the home, they can call
this 11 y.o. for advice on how to handle it.
That story has more holes than Swiss cheese shot by an 11 year old. ;)
Good thing his pistol magazine capacity wasn't limited to 10 rounds: that burglar would have gotten away.
Tis ifin ya doesn't go sneakin inta folks homes.
If California falls into the ocean while they're there, at least they're all good swimmers!
escaped Alcatraz. Polo Girl now on plane, boys home alone  well I hope they're at school right now!
Hey, Mum's talking about us on the internet.
Never mind that, help me put this fire out.
I can't, I have to hold the rope or they'll get loose.
We can catch them later, try to stop the water before it goes down the stairs.
one did text me a couple of days ago to ask exactly when we were coming home.... then he texted beest a few minutes later to find out how to put the dishwasher on. Still came home to two plus dishwasher loads
