Kickstarters

Everywhere I go on the web, I keep running into links to another kickstarter. This seems to be all the rage these days. At first it was people who had a good idea for something that would solve a problem for a particular group, something those people would gratefully buy. But the idea person didn't have the money or connections to bring it to fruition.

Then I stared seeing people who had an idea for something that wasn't particularly needed, but enough of a novelty they could make a buck on it.

Next up the people who have written/sold a series of books, or produced a series of widgets, but decide they will crowdfund the next in the series.

Since I don't go looking for them the may well be other catagories. This one I saw tonight, is a guy that wants to produce curved weighted chopsticks you can lay on the table and still keep them clean. He says it's a problem of what to do with them between bites. Not much lately but I use to use chopsticks quite a lot and it took me as long to load them for the next bite as it did to scarf the one in my mouth. Probably I'm inept at it and/or don't chew properly. :haha:

Anyway, it amazes me so many people have this problem they need these.

Will they have extra shaping/weighting to stop them from rolling?

They seem to be squarish where the wood meets the metal.

How about cardboard cat houses?

I want one of those, but don't know where to put it.
