Inexplicable or Overheard at Work, on the Street, etc. Today

Thought this might be a good place to put your auditory WTF? moments.

I was at work today (temp PT job in a kitchen) and while walking though the back I hear one of my teenage cow orkers telling a story to a couple of her peers,

"and then she gets excited and starts speaking Asian really loud..."

Given the context of the job, she makes more sense than I do, she is not the outlier in that place.

weirdness

At the dollar store:

"do you sell black plastic bags, the big ones?"

"You mean, like trash bags?"

"Yeah, those."

Not a language thing, she was totes American.
