Here's the sad thing: Depending on the state, somewhere between three and nine tardies equals an absence. An absence results in actual dollars being taken away from the school, even if the kid is there in reality. The teachers may think it's funny, but I assure you there is an administrator somewhere who does not think it's funny in the slightest.

That's a problem, administrators are administrating everything these days.
It's a well known fact that 85% of problems are caused by administrators. Image

I don't think these would've embarrassed me at all. What would embarrass me is that he is writing hashtags FFS. Don't get me wrong, I use them on instagram, but ONLY there - not everywhere. I hate that.

I never excuse my kids if they're late unless it's my fault.. they need to suck it up.

My standard excuse note for when they have to skip school for an ice hockey tournament is:

XXX will not be in school on Friday because he has a series of appointments with some solidified hydrogen dioxide specialists.

I did just cut and paste this from my email archive :)

I love the term hydrogen dioxide.

This is borderline genius:

Shouldn't that be Dihydrogen Monoxide?

Why not set the can on there instead of dirtying the pot?

Too hot to hold?

While the notes are funny they are predicated on the idea that it is the kids's fault that they are late. An actual parent (according to me) would say, "You can Expecto Patronum after school. Get dressed and get your bookbag together."

Great, you've got five kids, that doesn't excuse you from parenting.

VERDICT: sarcastic asshat. Bailff, whack his pepee.

That shit is deadly and should be banned.

I have that movie on VHS. I came for the Catholic High School Girls In Trouble, but I stayed for Frying The Cat In Pure Wesson Oil.

EDITED TO ADD:

Apparently I have mixed my memories of the good old days. The pee-pee whackin' baliff is *not*, repeat, not part of the trove of treasures from Kentucky Fried Movie, though they are of a kind, and contemporaneous. Do not call the baliff, I'll whack my own pee-pee, repentently (sp).

eta: for the previous one. Not sure about the "none of the above"... no guarantee of improvement, and the current batch just gets more time.
