Rim Jobs

I figure Grav or Bruce might know this, but anyone can chime in. I've been wanting a rim job, but don't how much to pay. Searching on the internet hasn't been to helpful either. Finding someone is a problem unless I want to go to the "hood" around here. Looks like I might have to wait till I go to the VA and can stay overnight because I figure it will take awhile. I want black powder coat. Will they have to strip the chrome from the rims? Do you think I can get a set of 16 inch wheels done for less than $300?? Or would I be better of buying a new set of black powder rims?

They would have to at least sand/bead blast the rims to assure adhesion.
I just had two 19x8 inch, and two 20x10 inch, aluminum rims done for $700.

I was more than halfway through before I decided Sarge was serious and not double-entendre-ing.

Yeah, I shuddered a little at the outset. ;)

Clod - Sorry I gave you the wrong I idea. I want to add a heavy powder coated warn winch bumper and brush guard also. Maybe I should have mentioned that to avoid the confusion.

Rims I don't know from, but, trust me, stay away from the black powder...I snorted some of that shit once, almost blew my head off.
