A Denver man has been charged with multiple felonies after he was caught distributing fliers to educate potential jurors about the practice of “jury nullification.”
What evidence can they show in court if it's a felony to show these fliers to jurors?
Let's see... insurrection, anarchy, subversion... oh, I know, contempt of court! That's a good one because they can lock you up indefinitely.
Mention "jury nullification" when being called up for your civic duty and they will immediately reject /flag you. This is mostly unknown and the powers that be want it kept that way. Imagine if jurors took the law and ignored it? Why, anything could happen! And they couldn't predict or control it!
We can't have that.
