Look who's back...

That's right, it's your humble narrator, albeit with a slightly different login.

General lifechanging stuff since last I appeared here (no particular order):

I got married.

I bought a house (heck, this might be the second place I bought since I was last here).

That's enough lifechanging for a few years, I think.

Inflated user count, severing ties from your old posts, the hassle of creating a new account and the possibility that some thick-skull will look at your new login and think "He's asian." :)

Welcome back.

Re: the user count, welp, I don't think Tony will be terribly concerned. Re: severing ties from my old posts, gee, I don't think that any threads I created several years back are still alive. Re: hassle, what hassle? And re: thick-skulls, why the hell should I give a damn what thick-skulls think?

You forgot your password, didn't you?
juju • Mar 31, 2003 3:43 pm
I was just looking through some of Adam's old posts, and there's this one one thread where Cellar cookies are talked about. Whatever happened to this idea, Tony? Two years ago it was nearly done. Did you give up on it?
Undertoad • Mar 31, 2003 4:03 pm
Of course!

Whoo hoo!!! Adam!!!

I'd just been wondering about you (out loud, i.e., on The Cellar) recently!

Welcome back!

(hugs)

We have a lot of catching up to do!

No, I actually tried to log on with my original logon and password, but to no avail.

Whatever, it's not as if it matters overly.

Right?

Welcome back Adam! Nice to see a familiar face again.

We've missed your unique viewpoint around here.

Frankly, I'm surprised to see you posting, Brian- I figured you'd have been shipped off to Iraq by now.

Unique, in this case, being a polite way of saying "mildly deranged."

I take that as a compliment,

shipped off to Iraq? Heck no!

I'm retired now...there have been some changes in my life since you last tuned in.

someday I'll tell you all about it.

Only one year? I suspect it's been far longer than that. How long has it been since I logged on as adamzion, anyhow?

Curious minds, etc.,

Last post was in June of 2001 on the Eaglet IotD. For some reason I remember that.

Adam,

Well, things haven't changed much here like they have with you. Honestly, I wish my personal life was as fulfilling as yours. You've always been someone to look up to, and especially now moreso than ever!

I am relieved to hear you got married finally. Ever since Ari told me he saw you two at Rodeph Shalom (yeah, like you'll catch me at Shabbos service), and that you were happy together, I knew it was going to happen. He's good like that.

As always, wishing you the best.

Hold on... I'm someone to look up to? Oy, the pressure...

And I doubt I ran into Ari at Rodeph Shalom, although I certainly run into him at Etz Chaim at least once or twice.

Thanks for the good wishes, natch. How're things going for you at DNX?

Before there was a wife, there was a cat. How is it?

Flashy's doing quite well. Ilana's not terribly fond of him, but the two of them have worked out something of a truce.

Wives will come and go, but cats always need to be fed and petted.
