From the Washington post.

That's me, right up there just above the 17.5 hour line.

Here's a couple pictures taken this sunrise that illustrate just how far north the sun rises at this time of year.

It would have more impact if there were some indication of bearing. Image

He probably had his chin up, shoulders back and stomach in; but, that's not important. He needed to go out and shoot some azimuths.

On Arran 21- 24 June:
Sunrise - 04.37
Sunset - 22.08
(17 hours, 31 minutes)

And I'm going to be there next week - whoop! whoop!

We are of course in winter solstice here...and a cold front from down south making it positively frosty at 10 or less degrees at night and barely hitting 20 during the day.

I dream of 20 during the day right now.
I wouldn't like that as my Winter temperature, I admit. But it would be lovely for a Summer one...

I just like Autumn and spring. Not a fan of high summer or low winter. Moderate is nice imo. :)

Good. It is too cold for big forest fires.

Or do you like the excitement?

Why would you ask such a morbid question? Surely you know how devastating the effects of Bush fires have been here over recent years?

The fire season doesn't start till around September. I hope it is mild.

Morbid?
fargon • Jun 23, 2015 4:22 pm
It was only tw, you can disregard the question.

Had we impeached him, would it have been any better?
