Gave me a good laugh.

So we were all out to dinner after the big high school graduation for one of our grandsons. We weren't sure he would make it, he is a bit challenged and had to do a lot of extra study and activities to make the grades to get to walk with his friends but he did. So it was nice that 21 family members came out to celebrate with him.

A younger grand son and I were talking at dinner and he said he couldn't wait until he gets to graduate, he is only in 4th grade so it will be a few years. I told him I would look forward to being at his graduation.

He looked at me and remarked with all honesty, "If you pass before I graduate I know you will be looking down on me!"

Had to hold back a hearty big laugh. I'm only 58 kid! But I'll do my best to stick around! ;)

While sightseeing around PDX, we were challenging our 4th grade
grand-daughter with tongue-twisters when she came up with this one...

Peter Piper picked a peck of pickled peppers.
If Peter Piper picked a peck of pickled peppers,
how many pimpled peckers did Peter Piper pick ?

Grandparents are easily amused.

A pimpled pecker is no laughing matter.
