fargon • Jun 4, 2015 4:55 pm

lumberjim • Jun 4, 2015 5:00 pm
As in surprise and alarm? Or the castle?
xoxoxoBruce • Jun 4, 2015 5:16 pm

monster • Jun 4, 2015 10:46 pm
however, the water polo serving bowl thing I've been working on for Hebe's grad party will not be done in time
fargon • Jun 4, 2015 10:49 pm

And banana lady made it eventually to the nastiest messy house ever. She was convinced she'd miss her connection, gave us the wrong flight number anyway and then the stupid thing was two hours late. Given that we had hockey practice, polo banquet, middle school ice cream social and last-chance pottery all at the same time -oh and regular home from school for Thor who missed the bus but didn't bother to tell anyone for an hour- we really didn't have a spare car or driver at that point....
monster • Jun 4, 2015 10:55 pm
tired because it's the second 3am wakeup day. pissed because I didn't magically get EVERYTHING done. covred in mayo from making potato salad in a hurry

and just generally miserable

old, body falling apart, college fees... 13 going on 8yo about to go to high school and get killed

oh yes, party for 10 in a week, can't find the floor, et it rains

And going forward, if anyone says "first world problems "they are deader than dull meat on a dull stick
sexobon • Jun 5, 2015 12:30 am
Thank goodness you can still choose to be happy; 'cause, you know ...
infinite monkey • Jun 5, 2015 4:10 am
Not first world problems. Real problems. Nothing you won't overcome though, I think. Because you are awesome. Hang in there! :)
monster • Jun 5, 2015 10:22 am
100 at the party not 10 allegedly. although knowing our luck we''ll miraculously pull off prep for 100 and only 10 will show. for 10 minutes.

hey I always feel if you can bitch and whine you ain't dead yet, eh?

So with all the party prep to do......... I changed the turtle's water :) Now I'm going to vac the car. Correct, the party is not in the car. yet.
Clodfobble • Jun 5, 2015 11:23 am
This is a graduation party, yes?
xoxoxoBruce • Jun 5, 2015 11:23 am
It's good to get the car and turtle squared away while mentally girding your loins for the attack on party-prep. Multitasking monster. :cheerldr:
monster • Jun 5, 2015 11:47 am

monster • Jun 5, 2015 11:49 am

xoxoxoBruce • Jun 5, 2015 11:57 am
Warn banana lady about Bartzella, and give her our regards. ;)
monster • Jun 5, 2015 4:56 pm
got a fucking parking ticket at the peony garden. never had one before in my life. Must've only ever used that lot in the evening before. Apparently during the day its a blue permit lot for the university. signs are not huge or in great locations -but they are there :(
xoxoxoBruce • Jun 5, 2015 5:01 pm
Kudos for going the extra mile to entertain banana lady, bet she's never seen an American parking ticket before. :thumb:
monster • Jun 5, 2015 5:38 pm
neither have I :(

too miserable to scream now
