are all already done. Chia Pet is all played out too, obviously.

I have a salesman whose last name is Chiaffetta. pronounced Cha-fettah.

When I have a deal to do for a salesman, I page them when it's time to bring their customer into my office. The code is 'come on down' We say, "Mitch Chiaffetta, Come on down..... Mitch, Come on down" That's how they know it's OK to bring the customer. It's been that way since I got here. (almost 11 years now!~)

For years now, I've been paging Mitch (not his real name, lol) with various names that sound like his, but are not his name. He gets a kick out of it. The replacement last name has to have the right amount of syllables or key sounds in the right places, so that it's close enough that you could have misheard it..... Like Trifecta has the 3 syllables, the Tr is close to Ch , and it ends with ah.

I could use some new material.

I came up with a few of these by just mumbling the real name into my phone and seeing what Google thought I was saying.

You need a mumble track, like David Byrne.

Talking Heads lead singer and guitarist David Byrne often created songs with a “mumble track,” as he called it. And the 1984 hit “Burning Down The House” was no exception.

“He would just kind of mumble syllables, words — whatever kind of fit the line of the melody. It wasn’t necessarily to make sense,” says Schaefer. “In the case of ‘Burning Down The House,’ the mumble track worked so well with lines like ‘Three hundred sixty five degrees. Burning down the house,’ that they just kept it.”
