I don't know ... I've read about astute women communicating their situation to astute 911 dispatchers. Glad it was an astute Pizza Hut employee, and even if someone is asshole enough to make a dummy call in future, I hope it'd be taken seriously. Asshats can always be publicly humiliated; honest people could be dead without the help.

I think xoB is suggesting that now all the hostage takers will be suspicious of pizza orders containing hidden calls for rescue and will prevent such calls.
