Whilst shopping for some new heavy tunes on Amazon I noticed the section outlined in red... um, yeah ok. Nope, sorry, I don't wear clothes missed the mark there Bezos!

Anyone else come across strange marketing ploys like this?

Oh, yeah, they've been doing that for a while. I suppose it falls into the category of, "is this really going to make anybody buy more stuff? Do they think we're a bunch of idiots?" (This is my reaction to a lot of advertising these days.)

I thought it was cute the first time I saw it, but they need a new gag.

Amazon is diversifying TOO much.
