What is this? It has been in every section of my favorite thrift store over a period of several month and apparently nobody knows what it is. Can The Cellar prevail?

I know what it is and where it goes. I don't know how you got it but I know where I left it.

:D

haha just found that myself and came to post it, thanks!

what search terms did you use? I was successful with Rastafarian Mexican plastic hair tool
monster • Jan 21, 2015 8:22 am
I'll probably get banned from places for having a racist search history
glatt • Jan 21, 2015 8:26 am
I thought it might be some sort of sewing or knitting tool, but then after looking at it again, it looked more like a kitchen tool, and then I thought it must be a potato masher, so I searched for potato mashers.

I've been thinking kitchen or laundry tool, but never crossed my mind to put it near a potato! looks like it would be pretty useless -no wonder someone donated it!

I found it in the toy department yesterday so decided to end the mystery.

I'm glad it's not a sex toy

We own this potato masher, and it actually works really well. It's just a pain in the ass to store in a drawer. It's always making the drawer get jammed when you try to open or close it.

Not meaning to belittle your pain, but ALL potato mashers are drawer-unfriendly.
When I rule the world, all kitchens will have specific deep drawers for items like this.

Or maybe I'll just make everyone eat Smash instead.
Bwahahahahaha!!!! Depends how benevolent I feel.

I, for one, welcome our potato masher overlords. :-)

Sundae, deep drawers don't help, they just need to be in utensil holders on the counter. more counter space is what we need.
BigV • Jan 22, 2015 11:31 pm
I thought it might be a Weeble, depicting Rastafarian Beest.

For the news-junkie Dwellars... what is this ?

Hint: It's old and cracked
Sundae • Jan 24, 2015 2:03 pm
It looks completely wrong for this answer, but the description you gave suggests King Tut's beard...
And if it is I'm sorry for spoiling it for everyone else. I only heard the story on the radio, so it a misleading photo wouldn't faze me.

Luckily I think I am completely wrong as it looks more like a map than anything.
Lamplighter • Jan 24, 2015 2:36 pm
Sorry, Sundae... but surprisingly the labels is have a connection(?) to Tut !
lumberjim • Jan 24, 2015 2:42 pm
is it his preserved organs????
Lamplighter • Jan 24, 2015 2:46 pm
Sorry, LJ. Not at all that kind of connection.
glatt • Jan 25, 2015 12:22 pm
It's that comet they landed a craft on.
Lamplighter • Jan 25, 2015 12:44 pm
Hooray for Glatt... I sort of figured he would be the one who got it !

Here are 2 links to sort of justify my hints...

I do admit to cropping and flipping the pic in several modes to make Google Image searches more difficult.
