Moderator Election Thread 2015

Please vote for no more than two people, to be Cellar moderators through the end of the year. The top two will be selected. The term of this office will be through 1/10/2016.

Candidates are listed in order of nomination.

The job is:

Moderators are added to the list of email addresses that get notified when someone reports a post. One would remove spam and forum abuse and things like this.

Moderators can do the following:
- Edit, move, delete posts
- Edit, move, copy, open/close threads
- Post announcements (make posts "sticky" at the top of the forum)
- View IP addresses
- Ban users

This is not a popularity contest but a way to figure out who should have additional power for the benefit of the community. Full disclosure: although I have the ability to see who voted for whom, I won't peek, I sincerely promise.

The vote will be open for five days, ending at approx. 11:59 am EST Jan. 10. (Or whenever I notice time is up.) Thanks all for participating.

I voted for the status quo, but, would have no problems at all with The Fobbly One.

Oh believe me, the Fobbly One voted for the status quo too. I didn't turn down the nomination because I could do it if needed, but it's better to delegate. :)

I voted for all 3 because I'm a fukken rebel, man! that, and because I'd be cool with any combo of the 3. You could even have 3 Moderators.

I'm thinkin' maybe I should vote with the anonymous account instead of my own, just in case any of them turns out to be a serial killer or somethin'.

I think it's safe to assume all three a psychopaths, but whether any like Fava beans is anybody's guess. :unsure:

I voted for the ladies ... just because of glatt's finger.
