Calendar Pictures

When the family would gather at holidays, usually somebody would drag out their latest slides. It wasn't as bad as it sounds because it was one of my Uncles that commuted between Massachusetts and Alaska, or another relative who'd been somewhere interesting. Anyway, whenever a slide came up that my Grandmother particularly liked, she'd say, "Just like a calendar picture"... every time... without fail... for over 40 years I know of.

I was excavating a closet tonight and found an unused 2007 calendar which I'd bought several of for Christmas gifts.

Those are some fucked up people.

Just the tip of the iceberg, of fucked up people we're supporting for decades.

Just for shits and grins...

If it's not a lot of trouble, could you see who is on June 16?

This was fairly interesting, btw. Thanks.

I also caught the 1/1, 2/2, 3/3, 4/4, etc.

The other page for each month is a plain grid with the days of the week, and days of the month. Some holidays are marked but that's it. Nothing on June 16th but it was a Saturday, and the day before Father's Day, in 2007.

I also caught the 1/1, 2/2, 3/3, 4/4, etc.
Say what?

Way back when I was thinking 'daily calendar', it appeared the ones you've shown were January 1, February 2, March 3, and so on.

I didn't get that it was the number and name of the month being shown.

There must be a swastika between Manson's eyebrows, not?
glatt • Dec 15, 2014 2:20 pm
I recall there was at one point, and I don't think the prison infirmary does tattoo removal.

Wiki shows him with tattoo in 2014, but without in 1971. The picture in calendar seems like a copy of 1971 photo, so it is clear now :)

From Wiki...
On Friday, July 24, the first day of testimony, Manson appeared in court with an X carved into his forehead. He issued a statement that he was "considered inadequate and incompetent to speak or defend [him]self" – and had "X'd [him]self from [the establishment's] world."[5]:310[63] Over the following weekend, the female defendants duplicated the mark on their own foreheads, as did most Family members within another day or so.[5]:316 (Years later, Manson carved the X into a swastika.
