Aden will be 18!

On Friday. 22nd of August. 2014! I can't believe my firstborn is now a grown man (in the eyes of the law anyway).

I think I'm supposed to feel old, and I suppose in a way I do, but I just can't help thinking that I'm not. I have to stay young for the babies I still have to bring up.

Anyway, we're taking him to the pub for dinner so he can buy his first beer over the bar. Yes, the legal age here is 18.

haha...we've already had episodes of, "If you want to live here you'll live by my rules" type convos. Not in the screaming sense. Just in the sense that, now you're an adult, you're here by your choice not mine. Keep that in mind if you want to try being disrespectful. He has his moments, but mostly he's ok.

No screaming, in a lower than normal but steady voice, maybe through clenched teeth. Oh, and peering over the top of glasses, adds effect. :haha:
