Kandersteg, Switzerland

I'm very excited about a trip to Kandersteg, Switzerland!!!

SonofV and I are traveling with Troop and Venturing Crew 100 and we'll be staying at the Kandersteg International Scouting Centre. I've never been to Switzerland, but everything I've seen and heard has made me want to travel there.

We'll have day hikes, overnight hikes, hut to hut, glacier hikes, day trips to Grünwald, Stresa, Italy. The US Ambassador to Switzerland is a neighbor of one of the scout familes; we've arranged a tour of the US Embassy in Bern. I'm especially excited about a couple of trips: canyoning and Allmenalp via ferrata Kandersteg.
