Post your queries about companies and product reputations here. Or reviews. Or bitchin' (Probably steer clear of dental crown suppliers, though ;) )

I'll start off with logolenses.com (Bulk customized novelty sunglasses)...... Anyone used them/heard anything about them/their products? Looking to buy 100 pairs so want to make sure they'll be OK, this is the site/product my trusty assistant liked best.

Interesting product. At around a dollar a pair, I don't think they will be very high quality sunglasses. So just think of them as disposable novelty items.
monster • Jun 26, 2014 11:00 pm
correct. This is for kids on a summer swim team. We'll be saving them for the last (championship) week of the season, 100 gives us a few spares, but -for example- customer reviews of a different site are that the glasses are too small for adults. We have lots of big swimmers so that would not be good. I'm not finding anything about this site, apart from one positive review from a bachelorette on a wedding planner site. Which is kind or odd. Usually you put in any site plus 'reviews" you find a few unreasonable rants if nothing else. Or you find "after I purchased from this place, my credit card number was used fraudulently in Mexico".....

can you ask them to send you a sample pair in advance of a larger order?
monster • Jun 28, 2014 11:41 am
oh they do samples, you have to buy them, and they won't be my printing. :) And I want them fast. because they are for F*A*S*T. :)

They're ordered.

:worried:

I visited the site monster mentioned in the first post, and ever since, on almost every other site I go to, the ads are all for sunglasses of one sort or another.

It's weird how those ad servers will pick up on some things, and ignore others.
Big Sarge • Jul 2, 2014 3:54 am
that's strange - all of mine are for penis enlargement

Ever since I was stealing images from all over the web to make that Les Miserables poster for my daughter, I've been getting ads for the Broadway show.

We thought targeted ads were going to be creepy because they figured out what we wanted. Turns out that's really hard to do.
monster • Jul 2, 2014 9:48 pm
the problem is the fuckers pop up forever AFTER you ordered the product. If they were really smart, they'd look into "what do people order next after X"

That's exactly right. Now that my penis is large, I'm looking for...

a lady with a big baggy vagina?

Targeted ads? Don't talk to me about targeted ads.

I get 'How not to run out of money in retirement', funeral payment plans and invitations to websites, which are declined, where I will find ladies from the Orient who wish to discuss matrimony.

I suppose that not succumbing to the lure of oriental beauties will help me to remain solvent in my declining years.

Further thought may be required.

Or AdBlock.
footfootfoot • Jul 3, 2014 3:05 pm
I feel like I'm missing out on all the annoyance. Maybe I should get ri of adblock and adblock plus.

Or not.

Depends...Would you rather be solvent, or well-laid?

Since you ask, I'd rather like to depart this life in about forty-five years time with not a penny to my name.

If you get my drift.:D

Solvent Green is is is

So..... LogoLenses highly recommended :D

Glasses are adult-sized, comfy, exactly as imagined with our logo, speedily processed. Haven't checked the credit card charge yet, but assume OK, also no idea how long they will last but they're not intended to become antiques :)
Clodfobble • Jul 7, 2014 3:41 pm
Cool! The price worked out to like $1 or $2 per pair, right?
monster • Jul 7, 2014 4:20 pm
right. $1.94 each, we ordered 100 pairs.
