Cheesy romantic lines

So, it seems I've used most of these lines on the man I love. They didn't work, and he didn't run into my arms. LOL....And no, I didn't follow silly romance movie scripts.

So weird to me.
Never heard of the film. Or the book.
All the "we" and "our" comments just puzzled me.
But if it floats your boat (someone plays a man called, Noah, get it?) then I'm glad for you.
...on the man I love...
Well, shit.:sadsperm:

That's Ryan Gosling, and the movie is The Notebook. haha
Can you tell I sometimes like to watch cheesy romantic movies?
Actually, I think the thing that got me in that movie was that it was lifetime long type of a story. I do like those semi historical type of things. I know it was just a story, but you get what I mean right?
Well, shit.:sadsperm:
I've been looking at this for days and still not sure what you're saying. :p:
since you've used the lines on the man you loved, and Grav didn't hear them, he's despondent/frustrated/etc and has decided to take/put his *ahem* love elsewhere.
I had this whole fantasy-thing worked out, see...:(
Nah, that didn't come across creepy at all...

Hehe....I'm sure me IRL will disappoint you.
It'd be a helluva commute...
I want to hear about this man......
spill the beans, Lola B
I think he's a great guy, smart, a good person, all kinds of wonderful to me, and I would love to show him off except we're at a rocky part of our relationship. He has a lot of issues he need to work on right now. He has promised to get therapy when he realized that I wasn't bluffing when I threatened to leave him if he doesn't deal with them. So yeah, until this relationship is more solid, I'd prefer not to talk about him. If we happen to break up, it would be embarrassing for me. :p:
Embarrassing for him, it would be. For you not so much.
WTF!!!! I thought we were a couple ever since....you know

Well, let's see. You never answer my phone calls and you don't return them either. You go MIA all the time, AND (the most important thing) you're in love with Sundae. Hmmm.....nopes, sorry, I had to move on. :thepain:
well I got burned, but I deserved every word of it. sorry
Sarge, you do know I'm joking around with you, right?
Heading to the hot tub under an unbelievable deep-starry sky ... nothing between me and nature.

Pictures??? Do I need to do a mole check for you??
Ahhhh .... I waxed a little too poetic.
You don't have to look far on me to find freckles. Even when I work indoors all day, I have freckles. It comes with the Scot thing.
So, here he is. He's finally here, but so is hurricane Patricia dumping tons of rain and threatening to flood the city. We were able to visit the USS Texas battleship before the rain fell. My bf likes this pics the best of all the others, so I post this one. He's a fireman from North Carolina.

Well then he's seen fire and he's seen rain.
Now he's seen sunny days that he thought would never end.
You guys have been long-distance for how long, Lola? He looks nice.
How long have you known him? You just have to tell us everything.
It's a long story but OK, Once upon a time... :haha:
I like this picture of us the most. I will fill y'all in more later. Took him to the airport this afternoon. Miss him already. [emoji53]
Cheesy Romantic Line:
You're looking Gouda tonight
later...
Emmental I said earlier about you looking Gouda
that's about all I got right now......
Before I came here, I was in this other forum. I met him there. That was about 15 years ago. We regulars there would chat first in IRC messenger, then we switched to AIM, then finally to yahoo messenger. We either chatted individually or in a group. Sometimes we would do video conferencing or phone calls. We all became pretty close. He and I became really good friends, especially since we were more similar in age (there was about 3 of us in that age group). The rest were in their 20's. We were just friends then. Within that time, he had gotten married and divorced. About 2 years or so ago, we finally got together. I guess the time was right. I've always been totally honest with him. I could be myself, express however I feel about things without having the fear of criticism. And I've never felt judged. He lives in a 70 acre forest in North Carolina. He's been a fireman for 17 years. He's a really nice guy, calm and even-tempered, which balance out my excitable and temperamental personality. Hmm....anything else y'all would like to know? :D
Are you thinking/planning to go there to be with him?
What percentage of his fireman's retirement pension did his ex-wife get in the divorce settlement?
I hear hearts breaking down south...... :D
are you going to keep it long distance forever?
What percentage of his fireman's retirement pension did his ex-wife get in the divorce settlement?
Hmm...I didn't think of that. I didn't ask, and he didn't say. However, I don't think she got any. She makes more than he does. I've got to make sure though. :D
And to answer your question, yes, I am planning to move up there. With that much land and that many years into the job, he can't afford to move. If he moves down here, he would have to start at the bottom. At his age, that doesn't make sense. He recognizes the sacrifice I have to make to move up with him and promises to take care of me and do whatever it takes to make me happy. We'll see how that goes. As long as he says it out loud, I am comfortable that he'll make a conscious effort. Ahh....yes, I forgot to mention. He proposed and I said yes.
WHAT?!?!?!?!??!
Congrats! YAY, a cellar wedding! Whoooo Hoooo!!!
'Ahhh yes...I forgot to mention'...!?
Huge news. Many congrats. He sounds lovely and the two of you look great together.
Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay woot woot congrats!
Thank you everyone for your congratulations. :) We don't know exactly when yet, but we're thinking of having the reception on top of the hill where it overlooks the city. It'll be an open invitation for all of y'all to come. There will be lots of space to fit everyone, hehe. He has cleared the area to build a cabin in the future. By the way, I have agreed for him to have bbq. Tentatively, we will have a cowboy theme reception. :D
Proposed what? :eyebrow:
:D
YAYAY! Wow, you're a dark horse, Lola!
Anyhow, Cellar party on a hilltop :celebrat:
Congratulations - you do look a sweet couple! ;)
Dude, awesome news! All the best to both of you!
Congratulations, Lola!!
:sadpace:
Bet he looks a corker in his fireman's uniform.
Thank you all, you wonderful Brits! I think the card came on the 30th, but I just went to my mailbox today, hihi. I usually just get bills and junk mail, so I'm not very diligent in picking up my mail. :p: Anyways.....THANK YOU FOR THE CARD!! So nice of y'all! By the way, his name is Bruce, hehe.
Bet he looks a corker in his fireman's uniform.
A fireman's uniform is not pretty, and it's not very flattering on any man. Bruce told me firemen in the fireman's calendar are not real.
If you're a good girl, he'll let you see his hose. When you're a bad girl, he'll let you use it.
Hey everyone. So, I eloped this past Saturday. I am now in North Carolina. Place is different, but I'm adjusting fine. Well, we'll see about that when the cold front comes Friday night. I was cold this morning and my husband said, this is not cold!! LOL....well, pictures to come. We don't have internet at home, being in the middle of the forest and all. So, I have to wait to come to work with him to use the internet. I spent the last several days trying to buy clothes since I didn't bring any. Things are different but nice. I'll be back more with updates. :)
Don't mind the noise, that's just hearts breaking in the Cellar.
Wow. That's really exciting! Congratulations Lola :)
Zoinks!
Congratulations, Lola!
Congrats, Lola!
If you're happy, then I'm happy for you.:)
:sadpace:
Dear Mr. Bunny:
You. Lucky. Bastard.

Cool! I'd get a kick out of getting a ride in a fire truck.
That's a fabulous picture Lola.
Girl done good.
I hope you've explained to Mr Bunny that he is now a defacto honorary member of the cult- sorry, community known as the Cellar.
Congratulations Lola. We are in shock, and don't know what to say.
Wow! Congratlolations!

Congratulations Lola Bunny. North Carolina is a very pretty state. I also moved there from a big city metropolitan area to live in Fayetteville for about 6 years while in the military assigned to Fort Bragg. I've traveled much of the state by car, motorcycle, and helicopter. There are many beautiful sights. It would have been fine to stay longer; but, I was reassigned to Fort Sam Houston and moved to San Antonio, TX where I lived for the next four years. Seems that you've done it the other way around! Enjoy your new home and family.

Congratulations Lola. Here's to your new life! :lovers:  :celebrat:
Congrats Lola. Wish you both all the best.
Nice to see both of your smiling faces. Now don't you go disappearing on us just cause you're wedded, make him join and give us all the dirt on you! :)

Gotta figure a way to get internet into the vine covered cottage, too. :yesnod:

Ya think?
Doesn't matter, she's a tar heel now.

My mom was for a day or so. She has now accepted the fact and just simply sad. My sister told me she worries about me, so I called home and spoke to her. My sisters are supportive, which is very consoling.
Bruce won't join. He doesn't even have FB account. He doesn't care for social media stuffs.
Yabbut this is antisocial media!

Geez. I just read this stuff about eloping. I'm officially depressed again. The 2 most beautiful women in the world are now married in NC or living across the Atlantic.
