buying games or renting them

So i play one video game at a time, but i play it hardcore, not just every once in a while. Does it make more sense to buy a game or get one game out at a time using gamefly?

yeah, i am probably going to just rent from gamefly.

We rent from the video store and play it hardcore til we're either tired of it, or finish it. Rarely do we even come close to the purchase price.

Oh, and now that it's warm enough, yard sales.
