Painting

Mum's been experimenting with paint. She's already pretty good with sketching and watercolours, but has been playing around with other paints and inks.

She emailed me this today. I love it. She is aware that the moon has turned out far too yellow! Her attempts to rectify this weren't wholly successful. But I still love the picture. Took her a couple of hours.

Vurry nize.

How large is it?

Mom and I took a painting class last year. It was really funny. Hers wasn't too bad. Mine was awful! I told her "well, I guess THAT'S not my undiscovered talent."

I like the yellow moon. It's all misty around it. Very pretty! Tell her to keep it up.

Doesn't matter if we like yellow moons. That one's her's. And her's is yellow.

@Sundae: It's quite a small pic actually. Looks much larger on the photo. She had some black paper and had been wondering what to do with it :p
