Do a 5K! (No physical Effort Required)

monster • Mar 3, 2014 12:32 am
So... I was thinking about organizing a 5k for my pool with something for everyone, and I came up with the idea of a 5K "Quiz". Basically, name 5 things beginning with K in each of the categories. I used to enjoy stuff like this 15-20 years ago, but I'm wondering if Google makes it just not fun any more....

It could be something done pub-quiz style I guess -no electronic assistance allowed- (maybe after running 5K or swimming 5k yards or 5 lengths with a Kickboard while eating your 5 Hershey Kisses reward....)

if you like this sort of stuff, feel free to give it a go and maybe suggest new categories (obviously I've added a couple for the Cellar's benefit ;) ) and any other improvements

1. 5-letter words
2. 5-syllable words
3. Animals
4. Candies/sweets

7. Drinks
8. Female names

25. Things you’d find in a park
26. Tools
27. Top 20 Hits

And if you hate this sort of stuff, make sure to hate on me with words beginning with K ;)

Is this for the teenage swimmers, or just adults? I'm just noting that while the teenagers are certainly going to be well-versed in the topics, perhaps some parents might object to the categories of "sex acts" and "swear words." (You kilt-fucker!)
