Will this get me a ticket?

I found this nifty mock license plate on my trip to Istanbul and mounted it on my LR just under the regular license plate. I checked the DPS website which mostly states that both a front and rear plate are required and that no part of the plate may be covered up, a law passed a few years ago to stop people putting a lens or filter over the plate to keep traffic cameras from getting a good image of the plate.

My wife says I will probably get at a ticket or at least stopped and hassled by a cop but I plan to argue my case if I do. To me it isn't any different from people who have their regular plate and then one for their favorite college.

I like it.

I wouldn't give you a ticket.

Your required plate is displayed properly, you're legal.

A quibble: legal and won't get hassled or ticketed are not mutually exclusive.

They didn't have one that said terrorist?

Istanbul, not Constantinople, now it's Istanbul, not Constantinople.... Why did Constantinople get the works? That's nobody's business but the Turks.
