Annoying war on drums

Noise Abatement Policy - We Prohibit the Following: All percussion instruments. Drumming on or defacing any Festival equipment, including but not limited to dumpsters, buildings, and toilets. Any excessive noise, especially between 1 a.m. and 8 a.m., including but not limited to music or any electronically amplified sound from a radio, CD player, or tape recorder. Enforcement is triggered by a complaint.

good luck finding someone to complain about a drum circle happening at the Folk Fest. I got my drum at the folk fest for my 21st Birthday. 1991. Where the fuck did that thing get to, i wonder.

If you give them money, they often misunderstand and play louder because they think you're a fan. Not an option. I had a bad experience this one time in Toronto involving drunken Ontario policemen.
