[SIZE="3"]This Salpa maggiore was found swimming on the surface of the water north of New Zealand where a fisherman noticed it and caught it out of curiosity.

It felt scaly, firm and jelly-like and was completely see through. The only thing that could be seen was the orange blob.

Turns out the creature is barrel-shaped and moves by pumping water through its body. The Salpas life cycle involves alternating generations of solitary existence and living as a group forming long chains.[/SIZE]

looks like a squid jellyfish.

does it have the same predators as regular jellyfish?
