CT Scan

Scan the 6th. Chronic changes in both lungs. Don't think that's the same thing as a great improvement? Hiatal hernia and mild thickening of the walls of the esophagus.
I've had the old esophagus stretched a few times. What fun.

At least you're getting some attention.

Right. But I'm wondering when I'll get the flowers?

Are the lung things affecting your breathing in ways that you notice, or is it just changes in the pictures?

I think what the CT scan was showing was the start of a honking bad chest cold. I hope that's all. And breathing is not going well.

Gah. Hope that's all. And, hope you get better soon.

*hugs*

Get well soon Buster.

Hang in there, Buster. Do what the docs say, unless it is stupid, then give 'em Hell.

No pneumonia, no flu. X-rays and blood work ok. I have bronchitis. Per NP at VA. Have a Z-pack to fix this problem.

Good news! I hope you get better soon. :)

sounds really weird to say '"bronchitis? that's terrific, really pleased for you!" but that's pretty much the case.

After reading the paperwork that comes with all MEDs. I had some concerns so I pissed away most of day on the phone. Called the pharmacy and could not get an answer. They got in touch with my DR. She called and said I was right. She had an in service about Z-packs and would send right meds. So pissed, say 6 hours or so and a trip. SOS.
I had called my clinic on Monday, told them I was sick and could I come in. No reply by Wednesday at noon, so I went to Jackson.

Yes, I was glad to hear it's not pneumonia or something more serious. At his age, it could lead to serious problems if Buster were to have pneumonia. My dad had recurring pneumonia, which really weakened him. The last time he was in the hospital for a simple procedure, his heart stopped. He then developed pneumonia. Long story short, he finally lost the battle because his lungs and heart were too weak to rid the toxins from his blood.. Five weeks from now will be one year anniversary of his passing. So, you see, I have a real fear of hearing an older person catching pneumonia.
