I saw on the screen crawl this morning on Good Morning America that a bunch of bats fell from the sky because of the heat in Australia. EEK, is it that hot there?
Dropbears prolly got 'em.
Haha...didnt hear about the bats, but we did have quite a heatwave last week. My cousins thermometer read 50 dergrees CELCIUS on one of the days.
Yeah, it was hot.
Bats and other critters too, suffering from the heat and dry spell. I read South America is getting that 120 degree heat also.
I think it's time to look seriously into living underground.
Some people already do that here. Seriously. I will find a link later.
One of the reporters on 5 Live this morning likened the North wind in Australia to standing 25cm away from a hot air dryer.
He said that although the official temperatures appear ridiculously high to us, it is in fact even hotter once you factor in that wind.
I think you should come to Scotland next year Ali.
I will if i win lotto Sundae.
50 degree Celsius??!!?? Good lord!!!
