Discovered a Picture of My Picture Out on The Internet

So the other day I was Googling myself, and, after I was done with that, I searched for myself on the internet. Heyo!

Anyway, I came across this: (ensmalled)

That's all fine and dandy, but, wait, what's this:

I took this pic for a Cellar Photo Contest way back in July of 2010.

They're using my pic for their background! Ok, one of their backgrounds. The pic is featured for this area, and was lifted from Panaramio.

Whermahchek? That's what I wanna know.

Naw man it doesn't work that way any more. Nobody payin', nobody gettin' paid. You should just feel flattered and go about your day, that's what I advise.

Weird. Is that one of those things like where Facebook said they were going to use your own pictures to sell you and your friends stuff?

You blacked some stuff out. Was that your name? Did you log in somewhere? Maybe they are serving you your own photos to sell you stuff like Facebook said they were going to do.

Who owns Panaramio? And were you still signed in with whatever company that is?

That's pretty much what I did. Except for the feeling flattered part, not that great a pic.:)

The redacted parts are my city & locations near me. Wasn't logged in anywhere. And, this was a part of the website dealing with my specific area. The site is somewhat similar to Panoramio (which is owned by Google, I think), in that it groups photos based on location.

Kinda weird: none of the other local photos were used for backgrounds. The other (rotating) backgrounds were from other places, which makes me think my photo pops up for other locations also.
