Here are some I made yesterday. Melting moments for the grown ups, and daisy cookies for the kids. :)

They are beautiful, Ali.
Did you make them for a special gathering? For your immediate family?
Just for us ortho. We bake most of our own cakes aqd biscuits. I was really happy with the melting moments though. I have never made them before, but my mum used to makes them all the time, so i was pretty happy that they turned out well. :). The daisy biscuits were just for fun for max mostly. They are just a vanilla biscuit with cranberries cut into circles then decorated with a blob of icing for glue, a foulpe of halved marshmallows and an m&m. Really simple.
Of course, family is a special gathering, the most special. :)
I always baked cookies and cakes for my family too. I'm glad the melting moments were a hit, as a family recipe/tradition. There's a lot to be said for that.
Are the melting moments piped? They look yummy!
Yep, piped. Mum used to do blobs flattened with a fork, but i like the piped look better.
...foulpe...
Neither context, nor Google, nor The Free Dictionary, nor Wikipedia can tell me wtf a 'foulpe' is.
Enlighten me, please?
Straylian for "plorp" is my best guess. a unit of measure. I ran off to learn it too.

after a couple moment's reflection, I believe it's a typographical error that should read "couple". The f and the c are close together and "couple" works in context.
Yes, it should have read couple. lol
Good word, though. It should mean something. Perhaps related to
loupe.
You sure make some pretty food. :thumb2:
Well you do... and you repeatedly come up with these gorgeous creations. You're pretty talented in the dress 'em up department.
I look at lots of books and also get ideas online. Sometimes i even dream them up in my own little brain. I just think its nice to put a bit more effort in. They say people eat with their eyes first, so if it looks great, people will bde more excited to try it. Thats the theory anyway. ;)
I hope the recipients appreciate the effort, as much as we appreciate the pictures.

Twil puts that theory to good use.
Most of the time Bruce, although like most people, my family take it for granted most of the time. They dont really see the value in the effort i put in for them. Guests do though, so they get a nudge now and then.
