Thesis statement: Experiencing self-consciousness does not involve the intellect.

Self-consciousness super-cedes the intellectual function, and ALL functions of the body.

Words, when used in a philosophical context, are used to point to the end of words; the end of an active intellect.

Self-consciousness becomes the active element within our consciousness.

Active ego, often expressed through the intellect becomes subservient.

Bill, have you read any Eckhart Tolle?
