Did anyone watch Ole Miss vs Vanderbilt last night. Talk about a nail biter. Great SEC football. Bo Wallace is no Eli, but he can throw and run.

When it comes to professional football I think its AFC, NFC, and then SEC. :)
infinite monkey • Aug 31, 2013 10:08 am
SEC? What's that? (I'm a Big Ten girl.) ;)

Go Bucks!
Griff • Aug 31, 2013 10:12 am
Big 10 is semi-pro. The don't get as big pay checks as SEC.

Big Ten? I thought that was high school. Alabama is ranked #1 and I bet they will be the champions again. Have you ever noticed how the SEC dominates the top 25 team lists? Roll Tide Roll and in the mean time, Hotty Toddy!!
Big Sarge • Sep 4, 2013 5:45 pm
After this weekend, we might see 5 SEC teams in the top ten.
Big Sarge • Sep 14, 2013 10:38 pm
Anybody watching the SEC kick ass today? Can you believe Auburn scored in the last 10 seconds to win? Now Texas & Ole Miss are battling it out. How did the Big Ten & Pac 12 do today?

I watched your SEC teams Alabama v Texas A&M go at it hammer and tongs. Two extremely good quarterbacks leading explosive offenses and a surprising lack of defense. I watched after coming home from a local high school football game that was very one-sided but at least my nephew looked good as a sophomore two-way starter. :)
Big Sarge • Sep 15, 2013 7:58 pm
Griff, too often an SEC has a great quarterback and a couple of receivers with nothing else. Eli Manning at Ole Miss was a prime example. Evidently we can't afford a good defense because we spend all of our money on offense. LOL

BTW, SEC now has 7 of the top 25 slots. Roll Tide Roll and Hotty Toddy!!!
Big Sarge • Sep 24, 2013 7:45 pm
OK bitches are you ready for some great football. #1 Alabama will play #23 Ole Miss. Ole Miss is off to their best start since Archie Manning. I don't really care who wins because I attended both universities so I am guaranteed bragging rights.

BTW, have you noticed how the SEC dominates the top 25??
Big Sarge • Oct 14, 2013 4:21 pm
I hoped you saw Penn St vs Mi with 4 OT's. Totally unbelievable. Great game! Down here in the SEC, we have 2 teams (Al & Mo) that are 6-0 and they have been playing top 25 teams. This is a great year for college football
Big Sarge • Oct 20, 2013 3:25 pm
Good God Almighty! Talk about upsets in the SEC by other SEC teams. Auburn took down the Aggies. Ole Miss took down the highest ranked 6-1 team in the nation (#6 LSU) in a true gut wrencher. So many great games.

I hope everybody got a chance to catch some of Notre Dame's win over USC.

All I saw yesterday was OHIO STATE winning yet another game. :)
Big Sarge • Oct 20, 2013 9:00 pm
We just might see Ohio State vs Alabama in the BCS Championship game.

Great weekend in college football.

Michigan performed much better than expected. If Michigan had made the 2 points it would have been the right move. It just wasn't. That's football, and why I love it.

Auburn beats Alabama? What a crazy game ender. I like this video of the fans of both teams, in that game changing moment. That's football, and why I love it:

I'm devastated that Alabama will not be playing for the BCS Championship. I had truly wished to see them smash Ohio State.
infinite monkey • Dec 6, 2013 11:14 am
I'm sorry. Maybe you will have more luck with soccer? ;)

Go BUCKS! :cheerldr:

Possible scenario No. 1:

• The scenario: Ohio State beats Michigan State, Florida State beats Duke and the one-loss SEC champion is left out of the BCS title game -- thus ending the league's streak of consecutive national titles at seven.

• The aggrieved: Auburn or Missouri. Lovers of grits everywhere.

• On par with: This won't be quite as bad as Auburn's gripe in 2004, because those Tigers went undefeated. It would be more similar to Miami in 2000. That year, however, was slightly more complicated. The Hurricanes (10-1) had beaten BCS No. 2 Florida State (11-1) at home, but they had lost to BCS No. 4 Washington on the road. Voters and computers placed the Seminoles in the title game against undefeated Oklahoma. Given what Miami did in '01, it's a safe bet that the Hurricanes would have put up a tougher fight than did Florida State in a 13-2 loss to the Sooners.

• Chances of happening: Highly likely. If it does, expect a lot of "it wasn't a REAL championship" talk from SEC country.
