There's a new version (on the iPhone anyway). It's very pretty. Looks like it has some useable new functionality.
And it's broken. Did I mention that part?
It doesn't seem to recognize when a thread has been read. Neither reading to the end or using the mark as read button seem to affect it.
New version on Android too. Not having the read-threads bug (maybe try rebooting your phone?), but I did notice that now the new posts I make slide in from the right, rather than just fading in. Not really sure that was worth a program version, but maybe there's more I haven't seen yet.
FWIW I make sure that the Tapatalk software that needs to run here, is running and is on its latest version.
which version is the newest? I have 2 or 3 on my phone, but 4 on my tablet. I like the phone one better
I've got an iPhone 4, and Tapatalk has never executed the one function that I downloaded it for: to dictate my posts. The button that supposedly does this just isn't there. I'm sure it's some setting or something, but ƒuck it. I didn't download the thing to create more work for myself.
I paid for the first version of tapatalk, and I like the interface better than the phone's browser interface, but they are charging for the updates. Seems like they should be free if you already paid for the thing. So I haven't updated. There was that weird double posting attachments thing, but others with newer versions had the same problem, so I'm not convinced that tapatalk updates are worth it.
This new format sucks ass. Really bad. I keep going around in circles, and I hate the layout. Why do these fuckers feel the need to drastically alter the interface. Do they not understand that people get mad when they have to re learn the goddamned program?
Fixed it. Deleted the piece of crap.
The original version of tapatalk won't let me upload pictures any more. They want me to buy the new version so I can do that.

they moved the browsing menu from side one to the other and removed the 'browse option from the menu. So, if you're looking for a thread that has not been posted in lately, ... even if you Know which forum to look in, there is NO way (l can find) to find it without Searching and then filtering the result to Thread title' only.
