Magician's Court

Sent some time last weekend on my sketching skills. Long shot from what I was expecting, still not that bad I guess (its WIP). Reminds of that guy Mandrake the Magician - syndicated newspaper comic strip:

what do you mean, that's *not* a tattoo?

Those characters have personality. You get a feeling for what they are thinking--what their personality is like--just by looking at them. That's a really cool talent, to be able to infuse your drawings with personality--you need to give a seminar for people who think they are producing web comics.

Thanks Flint. I try to strive for mood of the characters and ambiance. Think I have done some over-shading here but glad that you noticed emphasizing emotion.
