While I feel the guards were uncivil and impolite, the truth is the mall is not public property and a person's first amendment right to freedom of speech does not extend to private property, and their speech is only protected to a limited extent on public property.

While I also agree wholeheartedly that caner can go fuck itself and the horse it rode in on, I teach my kids that there are no "bad" words, only inappropriate audiences. Since a public space (meaning uncontrolled audience, not public property) precludes one's ability to choose appropriate language, I too would find that message offensive in that context.

And the guards were impolite douchebags.

We have an ad here that runs on primetime TV that says "Up yours, cancer!"
I've been wondernig if it will get any complaints.
Okay it's not Fuck Cancer.

We should have t-shirts made with FC in big letters on the front.
And in little letters underneath have "I would like to suggest that cancer leaves the building". Because you can't suggest that cancer procreates, as multiplying is one of its skills.
