See the shovel? Those icicles? All that cold white stuff all over? THIS is exactly why I moved to south Texas. It's been in the 70s/80s every day of April so far.
Reminds me of the April in the Chicago Suburbs of my childhood.
And Halloween, for that matter.
Nice icicles. We don't seem to get good icicles in Pennsylvania any more.
Love the wavy icicles!! Get much wind??
I can enjoy from afar, where the trees get shaped by the wind . . .
There once was a time when I wanted to live in a place that had more that twoish seasons, but no more. Aging has not been nice to me and the kids will just have to snow it alone.
Excellent, JPC.
Looking at those wavy icicles, you can see which way the wind was blowing over time. First this way, then that a way...
You can add southeastern Idaho (Rexburg). It was not uncommon to have a snowfall on the first day of fishing season ~June 1.
There is something to be said for Palm Springs and 70 on New Years day.
Here in DC, we haven't had enough snow to need a shovel in two years.
And I've only had to brush my car off four times.
This month started for us in snow and is going out in sunshine.
The garden has taken on the qualities of a speeded up film, in a week everything is suddenly flowering and sprouting. I would say leaving, but that brings triffids to mind.
