2/23/2003: Mass aerobics session

The "aerobics craze" which seems to have died out in the obese mainland US (? we have so many exercise crazes) has taken off in the Philippines.

Here 100,000 people gather for the world-record of aerobics classes - the biggest mass aerobics exercise ever.

Do you think they all saw their doctor before embarking on a new fitness program?

Just thinking ... Filipinos clearly start off with a better fitness level than Americans. I've looked very closely at that pic and can't find anyone grasping at his/her chest or falling over from exercising.

So when are all of the Cellar members going to have a mass aerobics class? :beer:

There might be people grasping their chests (a friend claims there are two), but the resolution is really too low to tell for sure.
