2/15/2003: Golden monkeys

These are golden or "snub-nosed" monkeys, mom and 11-month-old toddler in a breeding center in northwest China. Due to many years of wildlife protection, the number of wild golden monkeys in the province has reached more than 10,000.

They are presented here because they're cool-looking. Aren't they? Cool-looking animals should not go extinct.
