I stand for Sean Connery

Guy made some great films.

I watched The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen and The Rock recently. I've been practicing my Connery brogue.

The Rock was great. I think that is one of Bullitt's favorite movies.

There's nothing worn under my kilt; it's all in fine working order.

Connery does "cool" like almost no one else.

See, I find him quite barfy. To each his own, I suppose.

I notice y'all are studiously ignoring the futurefashion mankini....

Clooney does 'cool' like almost no one else.

I think men are either Connery men or Clooney men. Or women for that matter.

I'm a Clooney gal all the way! ;)

Yeah, well, I agree that he's had his share of stinkers. But his good stuff is really good.

Malone: You wanna know how to get Capone? They pull a knife, you pull a gun. He sends one of yours to the hospital, you send one of his to the morgue. *That's* the *Chicago* way! And that's how you get Capone.

I'll second that. I'll take Clooney over Connery any day. That mankini... cannot be unseen. *shudder*

What cannot be unseen, must be embraced.

Clooney wobbles his head as he talks. Couldn't be doing with a bobblehead.
I don't like Connery's political of world view, and he's a wifebeater.

I'll take Rory Mc Grath.

Ooh. I didn't know that. Is that gossip or verified?

Is he right wing?
glatt • Jan 10, 2013 4:27 pm
He's said in at least one interview that hitting a woman is OK and is something he would have no problem doing. Don't know if he has actually done it.
Gravdigr • Jan 10, 2013 4:34 pm
I think he used the more specific term "a slap".

Not his best moment, and, I think he knew it. I kinda think, if he were a bit more articulate in his words, it would have sounded different. You can see him sort of searching his thoughts...he can tell it's not going well.

Prolly wanted to slap Baba Wawa right about then...
