6/11: Barbara Bush's fake id

From The Smoking Gun, which we can count on to retrieve public records for the amusement of the rest of us... the actual fake ID used by Barbara Bush. Looks pretty good - it would probably work if the person in question weren't the daughter of the POTUS.

I had to use this for an Image of the Day after the whole discussion of national ID and fake IDs.

It doesn't look bad, but given that I lived in Maryland for a year, I can tell that it's fake as hell. The lettering on the license isn't even close.

Not that the guy at the restaurant would have known though...

It actually looks really good, considering it's not a driver's license but, rather, an identification card, which is issued at the mva. oh well.

I believe that this one's name is Jenna. Barbara Bush is the name of Jenna's grandmother.

er... no. it's Barbara. I'm guessing she's named after her grandmother. Jenna is the blond one. No offense, but please try and check your facts before you post stuff like you're an authority on the subject.

so what did Barbara Pierce have to say about having her identity stolen? And then how does B Bush get fake ID made when the SS goes with her everywhere? I wonder. Did the SS agents also purchase some ID?

And what fake ID maker is going to want the possible attention of selling ID so a President's daughter and someone always surrounded by law enforcement? I think we have not yet heard the entire story - including the bust of that ID falsificaton organization.

Oh, wait a minute.... didn't those ID makers bribe, I mean contribute to the Republican party?

i assume she got it before..

i can't believe those girls ever thought they could get away with that stuff. given that there so well known, on tv with there dad and stuff.

Actually, one of the perks of being the President's daughter is having the individual you are impersonating shipped off to Guantanamo for a few months, thereby preventing a potentially embarassing incident.;)

I believe Pierce is her mother's maiden name. As for your other questions, I believe you've answered them already.
