Newly Discovered Android Security Flaw

Someone knowledgeable about such things, please read this:

Newly discovered Android security flaw can wipe your phone with the click of a link

Now, a question:

Does this effect devices other than phones? Say like other gadgets that use Android? Say like, ohhhhh, I don't know...The NookColor?

TIA.

Doesn't look like it - it makes the phone dial out, so if'n it's not a phone it can't dial, right? But maybe a GrownUp should take a look for us, please?

Yes, it says you can avoid it by using a different dialing program.
