I don't know if you've left already, but I wouldn't blame you if you did as some of my fellow Dwellars aren't very nice to new members, but that kind the norm around here....to treat n00bs like crap.
Anyway, I read most of posts in your "I am a whore" thread, and there definitely are some nasty ones, but I've kinda learned not to take all the negativity so seriously.
I think the main point of this community is to just have fun.
Also, as Dana said, "Don't let anyone destroy your soul."
