I do not understand why people live in areas that have those Hurricanes. The whole thing is just sad and destructive...

Why don't they just move? And then there is always one guy that refuses to leave. He wants to stay and 'battle' the hurricane. That is the guy they find 1 week later when they are cleaning up the rubble...

I have lost faith not only in myself; but in humanity and nature. Still very upset; and confused as to how to navigate this site...

Thank you; as I am still disoriented. And I have limited access for some reason. I can not do much except post in responses. I learned of this site from my ex-girlfriend...

There does not seem to be many people on here; so I am kind of dissapointed. Any advice would be great; as I am going thru such a difficult time right now...
