Just how bad is the area in between? Too many hotel/motel reviews about dirty rooms and unsuitable for families have us a little worried, plus we've camped in that area before and it was a little dodgy..... we need to be there for 5 nights so we kinda need to be a little more picky than usual........ Are we wrong to be concerned?

Well, it seems this land is evil and full of dragons and other perils, and no one who ventures there ever returns to tell the tale.

Never passed that way... now I fear it.

As they say, if you go to Waukegan, you'll never walk again.

Dragons are good. We saw albino skunks there last time we camped. Is that bad?
