Nearly two in three Americans think President Barack Obama is better suited than Republican rival Mitt Romney to deal with an alien invasion, according to a survey released Wednesday.

Whilst the usual tv pollsters, politicos and electioneers are asking rubbish questions, the National Geographic Channel is keeping it real and asking the really important ones.

Romney would probably try to shift his banking to that planet instead of just offshore.

Then of course there would be all the difficulty explaining away Nigger Crater...

Thirty-six percent of respondents said they were certain that unidentified flying objects exist.

Well of course they do...from the POV of any individual who has seen something flying in the sky that he or she couldn't identify. I mean, why does a UFO always have to be a spaceship. A UFO is any flying object that is unidentifiable to the person looking at it.

I did a statistics project in college, where I tried to determine the correlation, if any, between belief in aliens, and SAT score. The commonsense correlation to expect would be that the redneck idiots would be the ones who believed in drunken abductions and anal probes... but my hypothesis was that those with the very highest SAT scores would be more aware of the vastness of the universe, and the power of evolution, and be the strongest believers in the possibility of aliens.

But in the end, there was no correlation at all. Lots of believers and disbelievers, over the whole spectrum.

From what I've seen, I'd say Obama would be better than Romney at dealing with an Alien invasion.

At the very least he'd be able to manage the cool one-liners.

Of course, he might just peel off that human-suit he's been wearing all this time and change sides! :tinfoil:

Change sides would be Mitt. Obama would negotiate away half the planet.

These are not the drones you are looking for.
